Job Description:

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

Works in conjunction with account executive/senior account executive’s to support business development and client retention for the specified geographical region.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arranges and coordinates schedules and appointments for account executive.

  • Supports account executive’s efforts to generate and develop new business to meet specified production goals including but not limited to cold-calling and scheduling appointments; reasonable for generating and developing new business in assigned areas.

  • Supports account executive’s activities to maintain and nurture existing client relationships; responsible for specified existing clients in assigned areas.

  • Functions as liaison between client companies, account executive, and operations staff.

  • Prepares weekly, monthly and/or quarterly reports, tracking works as specified by manager.

  • Organizes and maintains file system

  • Participates in business/trade events that impact business unit.

  • Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of local competition and of prevalent industry and business climate within the region.

  • Promotes company-endorsed programs and services within assigned territory.

  • Negotiates contracts and work agreements, as needed.

  • Communicate credit approvals and declines to vendors, brokers and customers.

  • Preforms other duties as assigned by manager.

  • Prepare Documentation Worksheets to include proper structure and pricing of the transaction.

  • Place follow up calls to vendors and customers for pending credit issues, invoicing and to ensure return of required documents.

  • Ensure all credit contingencies have been satisfied.

  • Responsible for communicating with customers, vendors, brokers and sources to obtain any missing items not returned with the documentation package to properly close transactions.

  • Require properly prepared invoices and obtain sales quotes.

  • Resolve issues to facilitate the funding of lease/loan transactions.

  • Actively communicate on a daily basis with assigned sources, brokers, vendors and brokers on transactions and funding status of leases/loans.

  • Other duties as assigned.

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent.

  • One to two years related experience or equivalent.
